The Siege and the Sandfox is a ‘Stealthvania’. We’re infusing stealth into the familiar Metroidvania experience, creating a unique twist on the ever-popular genre. Lovingly realised in an evocative 2D art style, with great attention to presentation, we are building a beautiful world for our players to enjoy… from the shadows.
AIDAN HOWE – Producer
Aidan has worked in the games industry for ten years, across five companies, in production, design, and QA roles. He was most recently production manager on BAFTA-nominated LittleBigPlanet PS Vita, working closely with Olly. Aidan is primarily in charge of internal production, handling the day-to-day tasks of the project and the overall schedule and quality of the game.
Chris has worked in the games industry for over eight years as a designer; across Frontier Developments and Playground Games. In that time, he has been designer on The Outsider and BAFTA-nominated Forza Horizon 1 and 2, amongst other titles. Chris is our lead designer, building the gameplay and gameworld of The Siege and the Sandfox.
ED DUKE-COX – Artist
Ed has worked in the games industry for over thirteen years as an artist. He has worked at Frontier Developments, Epic Games, Webzen, and was on the Hidden: Source Team. He has experience in both 2D and 3D art, with notable worked-on titles including Unreal Championship 2, Hidden: Source, The Outsider, and Unreal Tournament 2004. Ed is our wonderful character artist and animator.
Brother to Ed, Keith is another one of our artists. He has spent eight years in the games industry. As well as working at Frontier Developments with his brother, he has also worked at Unknown Worlds Entertainment. Notable projects include Kinect Disneyland Adventures, The Outsider, and Elite: Dangerous. Keith is our Environments man.
Olly has worked in the games industry for ten years, across six companies, with roles in QA, Design, and Production. He was most recently one of the producers on Sony’s popular LittleBigPlanet PS Vita with Aidan. He also runs North East games industry networking event Game Bridge. Olly is our ‘Business Lizard’, responsible for Biz Dev, PR, marketing, and management.
OSCAR BJÖRHN – Programmer

Oscar has been coding professionally for many years, with experience on all manner of projects and software. Most recently he was part of the popular Half-Life mod ‘Sven Co-op’. Outside of games, he has taken part in R&D projects using the Microsoft Kinect, and worked writing data-mining, database, and systems architecture in the banking sector.
Working in partnership with Cardboard Sword, Jet Stone Studios will be providing programming on the project. Run by Ben Morris and Rex Hancox, Jet Stone Studios provides outsource coding to all manner of projects – including apps and non-game software. They have experience in a wide range of programming languages, tools, and platforms.
Talespinners specialises in story for games, offering support to games development teams who have a story they want to tell, but not the skills or resources available internally to tell it.
The Talespinners team of writers have worked with a variety of companies, from indie to AAA, across all sorts of different game genres. They’ve also written books, films, comics, board games and live events.
